If you want to see cool things and go outdoors, then come to Washington! Washington is a great state with fun things to do and amazing things to see. There are fun facts, different climates, and places to see.

First, you need to know some fun facts about Washington. The first Starbucks coffee shop was in Washington. Starbucks is the biggest coffee shop in the world. The places that border Washington are Canada, Idaho, and Oregon. The date Washington was admitted to the union was on November 11, 1889. It was the 42nd state. The last thing you need to know about Washington is that the capital is Olympia. These facts make Washington interesting!


The second thing you need to know about Washington is the climate. The weather there in spring is around 39-60°F, so wear some spring clothes, but bring a jacket! In the summer, it’s about 52-60°F. In fall, its 40-60°F, and in winter it’s 30-43°F, so bring some hats and gloves! In the east in the Cascade Mountains, the weather is dry and warm in the summer, and cold in the winter. In the west in the Cascade Mountains, summers are cool and winters are warm. The Cascade Mountains are located in the middle of the state. Finally, there are different places to see in Washington. You can go to the North Islands, where there is whale watching. Also, the largest fishing port is there, which is called Fish Harbor.
